Investment Piece

This weekend I went shopping at J.crew with my mom (shocker).  While we were there I was taken by the most beautiful black sweater with black leather pockets. The sweater is outside my normal comfort zone, but I have to say, I am in love!  It is such a gorgeous investment piece that I will have forever.

Back to School

It's hard to believe it's already back to school time.  Last fall I was finishing up my MBA, this fall I am FREE!!!  This year back to school time means stocking up on tons of fun novels, instead of finance and economic textbooks.

When I was younger my mom and I would go antiquing, as soon as we got to any store I would make a bee-line for the jewelry counter.  In those years I would save my money and then buy amazing pieces of crystal jewelry.  I still have some, but I feel like this is a piece I have been missing:
