Catching my eye

My friends have sported multiple outfits that have caught my eye this week.  They range from pink and green to seersucker to embroidered sailboats:

Style for the Boys

I love men's clothing.  I like it so much, I think I should take up a new career as a men's stylist (I wish!).  Men are minimalists, so every detail in their outfit matters.  Even though it is all about the details with men's clothing, the best outfits are the one's that look effortless.  Here are a few examples of some looks I love:

As soon as I saw this picture of Carey Mulligan, I was awe struck.  She eludes old Hollywood glamor in an ensemble that is pure perfection.

Light Interiors

I tend to gravitate towards darker interiors with a cozy vibe.  I don't know if it's the warm weather, but recently I have been inspired by lighter interiors with pops of color.  The combination makes for a classic-modern feel.  Here are a few of these looks that have been catching my eye:
